Check out this super cute piece of home decor I made. This is a simple project with ZERO measuring – just my kind of project!
Supplies Needed:
- Scrap piece of wood (new or reclaimed)
- Black paint
- Sealant (I used Mod Podge)
- 1 1/4″ aluminum nails
- Thick string
- Tracing/graphite paper
- Printer (or freehand if you’re a pro)
I used a piece of scrap wood approximately 8×14. Paint the wood (i used black spray paint). Then printed “hello” in a font I liked, and traced it with graphite paper onto the wood. Next. I hammered nails along the “hello” text on the wood. Then, I wrapped/wove the string (in no particular pattern) around the nails. Once I tied off the end, finally I brushed mod podge on the entire project and let dry.
