Just a quick post... Parents to VERY picky eaters will get me, but I feel like I've conquered the world! Okay maybe that's a bit over the top. I prep my picky 8 year old's pb&j's at the beginning of each week and then throw them in the freezer for a quick grab in the… Continue reading Tackle Tricky Eaters
I got a Keurig 2.0 machine for Christmas from my mother-in-law....I'm. In. Love. But I needed a place to hold the keurig k cups. A quick piece of scrap pallet, a few holes and a wire hanger and I've made a fun holder that hangs snuggly right next to my new love. See photos below:
I despise my fridge. It's too short, it's blah white and old. Not like fun vintage old, but just normal 'white fridge syndrome' old. Because I have an obsession with painting I had to do something to spice it up, but I'm not quite ready to dive into painting the whole thing, although I've considered… Continue reading Framed Fridge
I generally work on projects that I can "move" to the garage in case they don't turn out as expected....but THIS time I thought BIG and knew I couldn't mess up! Charley needed one for school,… Continue reading Say It Sweet: Valentine’s

Another quick idea for big fun… Continue reading Clearance Earrings

There are tons… Continue reading Canvas quote art
It's amazing how much better something can look with when you slab on a fresh cost paint! Tools needed: Paint (get porch and floor paint) Paint brush Sandpaper Our stairs get a lot of traffic! Sanded, wiped down and painted them a dark chestnut brown. So much better!
This past summer I built a bench and coffee table for the deck out of wood pallets and liked the result. With all the new tools I received for Christmas (nail gun, air compressor, miter saw and hand saw) the cold weather and tons of snow wasn't going to stop me from building a… Continue reading Tall table made from wood pallets
